I am engaged - in every possible fields - in a double research about words and matters. I give priority to the imaginary and attach great importance to the ephemeral and the technical nature of things, and give my full attention to chance and accidents in production to re-use their effects. Since the beginning of the 90s i have been working on marks and matters and have made - among others - some big pieces in baked clay stamped with cloth or lace, and partly enamelled (raku).I try to get the most of the intense dull black of carbon fixed in the clay marked with prints of lace and basketwork.I use a gas-fired kiln, but I am looking forward to building a wood-fired kiln.
